Mishloach Manot

Mishloach Manot, or "sending portions," is a mitzvah derived from the Book of Esther (9:22):

"They should make them days of feasting and gladness, and of sending portions one to another, and gifts to the poor."

This commandment requires giving at least two types of ready-to-eat food or drink to at least one person on Purim. The purpose is to increase love and unity among Jews, ensuring that everyone has food for the festive Purim meal (Seudat Purim). The mitzvah is typically fulfilled during the daytime of Purim.

By contributing, you will help provide Mishloach Manot baskets for those in need, ensuring they, too, can experience the richness and joy of Purim.

Minimum suggested donation of $50.

Mahachatzit Hashekel

Machatzit HaShekel is a mitzvah rooted in the Torah:

"This they shall give—everyone who passes through the census—a half-shekel… as an offering to Hashem." (Shemot 30:13)

In the times of the Beit HaMikdash, every Jew contributed a half-shekel annually to support communal offerings and maintain the Temple. In today's time, it is customary to give charity during Ta'anit Esther (Fast of Esther) in remembrance of this mitzvah, using the funds for charitable causes to help those in need.

Your donation will go directly to supporting those facing financial hardship, ensuring they can celebrate Purim with happiness.

Minimum suggested donation of $10 (customary to give more) per person in your family or for loved ones.
